  • Three million years ago, a supernova near the center of the sector to coreward strained the ecosystems of surrounding space. Kuarrukr Subsector was close enough to be burned badly, and many of the systems now harbor only simple life, or show mass extinctions in their archeological record.
  • Though modern records are sparse, evidence suggests that only one system in Kuarrukr Subsector has given rise to sentient life. The Whirooa (0408) are now extinct, however.
  • This region was explored relatively early in the Crusade of the K'kree
