Inurin is a rich, agricultural world with improving living conditions due to a bustling agro-economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- This world is rich with high-grade living conditions, a good climate, and a non-harmful environment. Immigration registration for this world is always in high demand.
- This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below standard for Charted Space.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Borderland Subsector of Trojan Reach Sector.
Description / Astrography & Planetology[edit]
This world is located in the Borderland Cluster.
Stellar Data[edit]
System Data[edit]
The Inurin system has a lot of in-system traffic, most of it concentrated around mining operations.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Inurin is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Inurin has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Inurin has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.

World Starport[edit]
Inurin has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Demographics[edit]
Mostly Human, with minorities of Aslan and Vargr and scattered members of other species.
World Technology Level[edit]
Inurin possesses a Technology Level of TL–5.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone, radio, and television.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Electricity, hydrocarbon internal combustion, and the most fundamental atomic energy.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ground cars or automobiles and tracked vehicles.
- Water: Large ships and submersibles with steel hulls.
- Air: Early aircraft including seaplanes and very early unmanned rockets.
World Government[edit]
Inurin has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
- Along with several major nations, there is a vast array of minor settlements, enclaves, city-states, camps and even nomadic groups. Tensions run high between many of these, often for obscure historical reasons.
Nations include the following:
- Arbo: This nation is a scattering of small cities and large towns across the northern expanses of the main continent; some are conquered territories. The total population is about six million, controlled by a ruling military class that is about 30% Aslan.
- Confederation of the Pirconnia Sea
- Ellata Eriish: The largest of the organised states on Inurin; population around eight million.
- Inurin Free State: This nation occupies most of the eastern end of the main continent but is not very densely populated.
- Mission Central
- StarCity: Located on a large island in the southern hemisphere. It has less than a million inhabitants, many of them Vargr. Despite its name, it has virtually no offworld contact.
World Military[edit]
During a period of intense warfare among the balkanized nations, a strange combat vehicle began to appear on the battlefield. These enormous land battleships were used to break the stalemate along the front. The Mark III Titan is a typical example. Nearly unstoppable with the weapons available on-planet, logistics proved to be their undoing. The high ground pressure and slow speed limited their operational radius. The first surprise attacks were made from a single unit, very expensive and difficult to build, it was constructed in secret, underground. The components were so heavy they were transported on underground rail tunnels. Once assembled and close to the front, they were unleashed on the unsuspecting combine forces. A meter thick layer of armor made them immune to most attacks. Mobility was their main weakness.
