Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Hice, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.
Rebellion Era[edit]
During the fighting in Diaspora Sector during the Rebellion, Solomani Confederation forces launched an attack on Hice's class-A starport using thermonuclear weapons. This attack completely destroyed the starport and, it was believed, killed a substantial portion of the populace.
According to a source in Margaret's Navy, Hice wasn't targeted because of any inherent value, but rather because of its location near the Solomani frontier and its high-quality starport.
