The Hag'hg'k are a Minor Non-Human Race with a non-humanoid appearance. They are technologically sophisticated sophonts who serve as clients to the K'kree.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Hag'hg'k are an amphibious mammaloid sophont race. They broadly resemble the Terran river otter, though their nostrils are placed on the top of their heads, allowing them to loiter with their eyes and hands below water without holding their breath. Their skin is also susceptible to drying out, requiring protective clothing or a relatively high humidity for comfort and health. The average Hag'hg'k is approximately 3 meters in length, approximately one-third of which is their tail. While they are capable of bipedal movement, they are much faster on all fours. Their coloration varies but is usually brown, black or grey across their backs with pale brown or green bellies. The Hag'hg'k are fully omnivorous with regards to their homeworld. They have no dietary issues following a purely vegetarian diet if properly chosen, and are a trusted K'kree client as a result.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Hag'hg'k were pre-industrial when contacted during the Crusade, but the K'kree found them bright and inquisitive. The success of the Ciruwar in Ruupiin Sector as logistics handlers led the Golden Herd leaders in X'kug Sector and Kilong Sector to evaluate the native races they were encountering with similar roles in mind. The Hag'hg'k won out for logistics work, while the Tilpish in spinward Kilong Sector were elevated for other purposes.

The Hag'hg'k build and operate starships specialized in cargo handling and labor transportation across much of the Two Thousand Worlds, as well as in the Ka'ra Mandate and other spinward client states of the K'kree. While the Lords of Thunder trust them enough to allow entry into their territory, the Hag'hg'k are less trusting in return, recognizing the widening xenophobic streak among the separatist state's citizens.
