Gustave is a rich, pre-agricultural world with a moderate population of over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts in size.
- The world's agricultural industry is growing and some economists forecast an explosion in this world's agribusiness in the near future as new agro-technology and a more capable labor force are imported.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- This world has high-grade living conditions with a good climate and a non-harmful environment. As such, this world is much sought after with large queues for immigration here.
- The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
- It is a member of the Union of Harmony in the Uhtaa Subsector of Reaver's Deep Sector.
- This world has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships.
- This world has a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces.
- Gustave has colonies at the following worlds:
- Delilah (Reaver's Deep Uhtaa)
- Freedom (Reaver's Deep Eakoi)
- Galloway (Reaver's Deep Uhtaa)
- Kassia (Reaver's Deep Uhtaa)
- Miranda (Reaver's Deep Uhtaa)
- Tolde (Reaver's Deep Uhtaa)
- Zack (Reaver's Deep Uhtaa)
- About 80% of the population is composed of Aslan.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Gustave is a Big World between 13,600km and 15,200km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 1G and 1.3G. The horizon will appear about 5.4km away. Vessels with only 1G of thrust should avoid landing on this world.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Gustave has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Gustave has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
This world is the current capital of the Union of Harmony.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Gustave has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Naval Base and fully functional shipyard.
World Population (P)[edit]
Gustave has a population of 500,000,000 sophonts (hundreds of millions).
World Demographics[edit]
World Government (G)[edit]
Gustave is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are typically young governments, coming as a recent change, and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.
Military[edit]
The Union of Harmony manufactures its own jump-3 starships at the yards on Gustave, but its navy is small and focused on anti-piracy missions rather than warfighting.
World Law Level (L)[edit]
Gustave has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
Gustave possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
Historical Data[edit]
Terran emigres from the Interstellar Wars settled First Law. Over the next 700 years, the Terrans slowly expanded from First Law, establishing more colonies on nearby worlds in Uhtaa Subsector, including Gustave.
World Timeline[edit]
Significant events that have affected this world and its surrounding region include the following:
- -1385: The Ulane receive jump drive from the Aslan.
- With their few starships, the Ulane explore a number of worlds in their subsector and coreward into Reaver's Deep Sector.
- 380: Peace of Ftahalr
- This relieves the external pressure of Aslan enmity on the Celestime League, which is subsequently shattered by internal conflict.
- 856: The founding of the Union of Harmony, bringing together former members of the Ulane Nations and Celestime League, among others.
