History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Degarla was one of the most important naval bases in Corridor, for it housed a mini-depot to be used in case of a Vargr invasion of the sector.

  • But when Lucan recalled the Corridor Fleets, the subsequent Vargr invasion overran the base before the local reserve fleet could reach it.
  • The local population served the Irrgh Manifest garrison as a captive workforce, but were eventually forced off world by the Manifest military in favor of technicians arriving from coreward.
  • Some of these managed to evacuate to the Domain of Deneb.
