The Ougzunghoergue Gerrg was a short lived Vargr Corsair group in Khouth Subsector of little interest to those outside that region.

None ever issued. The group was seen as a Corsair Fleet within the Dzarrgh Federate by the RISS and 61st Fleet.

Description (Specifications)

A Corsair group based at Koergfoes within the Dzarrgh Federate whose facilities were destroyed by the 61st Fleet in a raid in 1135. The group's leadership was unable to sustain the loss of face that this destruction caused and the group broke up as a result.

History & Background (Dossier)

History

The Ougzunghoergue Gerrg started as a coalition of Vargr captains from Tuglikki Sector that joined the Dzarrgh Federate in 1118 to help with the Vargr incursion into Corridor Sector. They brought a considerable ground force and were able to provide the ground-garrison for Koergfoes where they made their base. Their occupation was subject to severe harassment by local resistance groups until 1131 when the start of the Abandonment saw the ships that had been running arms and supplies into the planet diverted to other duties. A major raid by the 61st Fleet against the starport facilities caused the group to splinter, with the Koergfoes Garrison Commander eventually holding the planet and the shipping finding other allegiences.

The highest Tech Level of the Ougzunghoergue Gerrg was B at Koergfoes. They were unable to access the Imperial Research Station's technology because the station was levelled before they could capture it.

The ships used by the Ougzunghoergue Gerrg were initially entirely Corsairs fighting under letters of marque issued by the Dzarrgh Federate. They added one destroyer from the Imperial Navy after the capture of the world's Naval Base.
