Description (Character)[edit]

Anguistus: Oldest issue of Porfiria. Born in 246, proclaimed emperor by the Moot in 326, died in 365.

History & Background (Biography)[edit]

It was the Emperor Anguistus who first commissioned the recording of the personalities of certain "experts" with particular skill-sets in the realms of politics, strategic leadership, and warfare and the imprintation of those personalities on wafer-chips readable by a compatible waferjack- equipped sophont. Wafers so encoded took their name from the Emperor's nickname ("Angin-wafers"), the recorded personalities carrying the authority associated with Imperial Edict 97 concerning Imperial Warrants and authorized (and in fact mandated) to be activated by protocol under certain specified circumstances.
