History & Background (Dossier)

During the Fourth Interstellar War the Vilani (Anglic: Vilani) introduced attack cruisers to combat the Terran's local naval superiority. Sharurshid (Anglic: Sharurshid)’s central management was able to construct large numbers of these new ships. The Agidda (Anglic: Agidda) class Attack Cruisers featured large spinal mounted particle accelerator weapons, not typically found on Vilani (Anglic: Vilani) designs up to that time. The stand off missile barrage style which had served them in good stead, for so long, was being called into question, as a basis for offensive fleet strategy. The Solomani tactics of close range attack challenged the Vilani (Anglic: Vilani) mind set and naval traditions. They were forced to adapt.
