System data
The primary is Gangan, an ordinary red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.04 Sols, a mass of 0.489 Sols and a diameter of 764,000 km. (I) Regent, a small gas giant orbits in the habitable zone: (Ib) Nug is its largest satellite and is designated the mainworld. (II) a rocky vacuum world, (III) a sparse icy planetoid belt, (IV) a large gas giant, (V, VI) two icy vacuum worlds, (VII, VIII) two exotic atmosphere worlds, (IX) a small icy vacuum world, and (X) an icy trace atmosphere world form the outer system. Most of the worlds retain satellites.
(I) Regent
(I) Regent is a small gas giant that orbits Gangan at a mean distance of 0.17 AU (25.4 million km) and has an orbital period of 36 days 15 hours. It has a diameter of 42,000km and is a faintly banded brown colour. It retains a family of three major satellites of which the second, (Ib) Nug, is designated the mainworld.

World technology level
Nug possesses a Technology Level of TL–6.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone, radio, and television.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fission power generation, advanced water and wind generation of electricity.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, early ATV's, and dedicated AFV's.
- Water: Amphibious vehicles, improved submersibles, and early SCUBA gear.
- Air: Early jet aircraft and rotorcraft VTOL's.
- Space: Early unmanned rocket delivery systems and early manned orbital rockets.
