Cotan subsector (Empty Quarter) is home to fourteen systems, making it the most sparsely populated sector of the Beta Quadrant. Seven billion sophonts call Manga their home, making it the most populated world in Cotan subsector. Sangre, a technocratic independent world, possesses TL13 technology, the highest in the subsector.
