Iksoe has a tainted unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Julian Protectorate in the Cotan Subsector of Empty Quarter Sector and in the Hegemony of Lorean. Less than 10% of the world's population is the Major Race Vargr.

World Starport

Iksoe has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

• Julian Anglic: A common variant of Anglic in the sector, and an official language of the Julian Protectorate.
• Arzulan: A series of largely related languages granted state recognition by the Lorean Hegemony.
  • Various local languages may be heard, but have no support from the Lorean government.
• Irilitok: The language family of the most populous Vargr phenotype and ethnic culture within the Julian Protectorate.
  • Tenirruet: A widespread Irilitok trade language within the Hegemony of Lorean
• Suedzuk: The varied languages of the often paranoid Suedzuk Vargr.
  • Evrgoer: The most common Suedzuk dialect within modern Lorean space.
