The rank of Lieutenant General (O9) is the commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army that commands a Corps or has duties of similar importance.
Description (Specifications)
Each Corps in the Imperial Army will be commanded by a Lieutenant General. Several staff posts at Army level or higher are also held by Officers with this rank.
The equivalent rank in the Imperial Navy is Sector Admiral, although the responsibilities of Sector Admiral are generally more senior to those afforded a Lieutenant General.
