Imperial High (Landed) Nobility
Agidda, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdoms of two members of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.

Agidda has been the site of several important battles.
- During the Second Interstellar War between the Terran Confederation and the First Imperium, the Battle of Agidda (-2397) was the first main-fleet engagement involving large ships on both sides. It left both fleets unable to press the attack, but the Terrans can be considered the victors. They retained control of Agidda and soon established a base there.
- During the Third Interstellar War the Second Battle of Agidda in -2372 was a decisive victory for Vilani forces.
- During the Solomani Rim War Confederation admiral Ivan Wolfe caught the advanced guard of the Imperial 17th Fleet at Agidda and inflicted a major defeat.
