John Harshman is a Traveller author, contributor, and fan.

Description (Biography)[edit]

John Harshman is a former employee of Game Designers Workshop, and longtime Traveller author.

  • John is essentially the father of Traveller exolinguistics.
  • He greatly influences the original alien books and the really great foundational language mechanisms in them (word generators, pronunciation charts, etc.)
  • He later stopped working with GDW and that was a great loss.
  • Some of his work was preserved by Robert Eaglestone and others.
