74th Fleet was heavily engaged in fighting [[Vampire]]s that crossed the Rift from trailing [[Reft Sector]], or from [[Corridor Sector|Corridor]]. Like most frontier fleets, the Riders have more squadrons than the norm, but the problems of operations in the Rift meant that less emphasis was placed on heavy capitol ships.

There are three squadrons affiliated with this border defense fleet.  Most administrative decisions and support are routed from the [[Zeng Subsector]] coreward.  Evet's World (B201656-D) has the 903rd [[AssaultRon]] stationed at its naval base.  There are twelve heavy troop transports assigned.  This is enough Tannhauser gate class divisional transports to move the subsector's army.  They have two dedicated river class fleet tankers, a pair of light cruisers and a flotilla of thirty destroyers.  Sestao (A420675-C) has a 401st [[BatRon]] to protect its naval base.  This battle squadron has four fleet tenders and four battleships.  There are four tankers, twelve long range fleet couriers, and twenty close escorts.  Jecife (A439667-F) has the 470th [[CruRon]] which have eight heavy cruisers, eight scout cruisers, They have two tankers and twelve long range fleet couriers.  The battle squadron has two fleet tenders equipped to carry twenty-four system defense boats instead of larger battle riders.

74th Fleet was heavily engaged in fighting Vampires that crossed the Rift from trailing Reft Sector, or from Corridor. Like most frontier fleets, the Riders have more squadrons than the norm, but the problems of operations in the Rift meant that less emphasis was placed on heavy capitol ships.
