The Iridium Throne was originally commissioned by Cleon Zhunastu AKA Cleon I and is indeed largely constructed of iridium.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The physical throne was originally an iridium construction on which the Emperor physically sat. Over time, the term has come to represent not only the emperor's throne, but the Office of the Emperor himself.
