The Antarian class Corvette is an ancient Antares Imperium design common near the end of the Second Imperium.

Description (Specifications)

It uses a streamlined, lightly armored flattened sphere configuration 1,200 ton hull. It mounts jump 2 drives and 4 G maneuver drives. Fuel tankage for 312 ton supports the power plant and allows one jump-2. Adjacent to the bridge is a model/5 fib computer. There are 41 staterooms with double occupancy. There is a 50ton missile bay and two double pulse laser turrets mounted with fire control. There are two 20 ton launches and a platoon 44 marine commandoes. The cargo capacity is 40 tons. The Corvette requires a crew of seventy six.
