The Cauda Rift is a Shadow Rift located within Omicus Sector, within the Empty Stars.

Details / Specifications[edit]
The Rift has approximate dimensions of around 25 parsecs coreward-rimward and around 20 parsecs spinward-trailing. It dominates the coreward-trailing quadrant of Omicus Sector. It is occasionally referred to as the Basilisks Tail Rift.

History[edit]
The Cauda Rift was first charted by ultra-long-range scans performed by vessels from the Last Armada sometime around 2255AD. Its exact position and dimensions were plotted by the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program between 5520AD and 5550AD.
