The Chinmaya are a technologically sophisticated sophont species.
- They are a Minor Non-Human Race with a humanoid appearance.
Description (Specifications)
They are a minor alien race native to Glomar (Zarushagaar Liasdi).
- Also known as Chin or the Chin.
Physiology
Chinmaya are intelligent humanoid mammals of carnivore/chaser stock. They average 2.0 m in height and 70.0 kg. in weight. Skin color is grey-black; eyes are invariably deep blue. There are two sexes.
History & Background (Dossier)
Until the Rebellion, Imperial troops were stationed on Glomar in order to protect the colonists from random acts of violence. The troops were removed in 1118 by Dulinor and protection of the population fell to the civilian militia. The militia has since had their hands full dealing with the militant Chin.
Society & Culture
They are also well known for their violent behavior toward human colonists who have infringed on their territory (ie. the planet).
Social Organization
True to their origins, the Chin are highly territorial.
- Land disputes between family/tribes are commonplace.
Military
All are trained from infancy in the use of bladed weapons.
