A Antimatter Thermal Rocket is a kind of Reaction Drive used on space vessels.

Description (Specifications)

Thermal Antimatter Rockets (ATR) or (PA-Drive) inject antiprotons or positrons into a solid, liquid, gaseous or plasma core reaction chamber to super-heat the core-matter and convert it to a highly energetic reaction mass plasma propellant for the production of thrust. While performance is generally comparable to Nuclear Thermal Rocket propulsion methods, the fuel efficiency is generally much higher.
