Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]

Yubitty, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of three members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.

Other Data[edit]

Non Canon: The towers are clustered in the shallows and on the few reefs and true islands that break the world ocean's surface. The colony is old and has risen and fallen many times since the first colonists arrived here so long ago. The cities are packed with humans and others of a variety of sizes and descriptions. The government lurks in the background. Agencies, bureaus and councils decide and deliberate. Citizens tend to ignore them and go about the difficult job of survival without much thought to how everything gets done and how things run. The native born locals tend to be shorter and surprising well muscled for their size. They can be heavy, some is insulating sub cutaneous fat deposits which keeps them from dying of exposure from long periods in water, but most of the mass his very thick muscles and bones. This compensates for the higher gravity and assists with swimming, which can be very tiring for non natives. Unfortunately, everything comes at a cost, and native life spans are not particularly long. The habitats are too important to risk damaging, so guns are strictly forbidden. The strength of the natives tends to make them surprisingly dangerous for the unprepared in close quarters melee combat. Small blades tend to predominate because of the cramped conditions and careless, rude off worlder victims are often found shanked, bleeding out with a look of disbelief and surprise on their pallid features.

The platform cities serve as sheltering and anchoring points for the floating suburbs. Everywhere citizens hurry about the swarming mass of living beings. Local family groups pool resources to invest in shipping. Status is derived from the size and capacity of your group's fleet. Larger fleets have more power and influence. Submarines and surface craft are rugged and reliable if a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Wind, solar, electrical, nuclear and hydrocarbon power are all found in odd combinations. Designs are utilitarian and often armed to content with rival groups of citizens or the more aggressive forms of mega fauna. More elaborate and elegant submarine estates are rumored to exist with the assistance of relic technology and smuggled imports. Off the beaten path, hidden in the depths, more powerful groups lurk with more advanced equipment.
