The Urunishani of Gashagi (Antares 0727) are a technologically developing Minor Human Race with a human appearance.

Description (Specifications)

The Urunishani homeworld, Gashagi (Antares 0727), was once considered a candidate for the homeworld for all of Humaniti.

The original Urunishani are extinct on their homeworld today. The majority of the Human population on Ogguengan seem to be members of the same Human race, but apparently do not share the original culture, which is considered lost.

History & Background (Dossier)

During the First Imperium, the planet Urunishu, today named Gashagi, was accepted by the scientific community of the time as the leading candidate for Humaniti's original homeworld. Urunishu was subjected to additional scientific scrutiny under the Terran-dominated Rule of Man, since many of its Terrestrial-originated organisms (in particular examples of megafauna) were representatives of evolutionary lines that had been long extinct on Terra itself.

Finally, shortly after the founding of the Third Imperium, a more extensive study of the world by Magis Sergei haut-Devroe eliminated Gashagi as a candidate for Humaniti's homeworld. The Solomani Hypothesis published in 114 contained the final conclusions, and was supported in 588 by additional studies.
