The Unified Cytralin Naval Command serves the Cytralin Unity.
- It is an interstellar navy and fleet organization.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Cytralin Unity combines resources and ships from a variety of worlds into a unified fleet which carries out a wide variety of functions.
Goals (Mission)[edit]
Border security and internal commerce protection are both top priorities. Utilizing the wide variety and range of capabilities from the designs made available to the fleet, necessitates careful resource management to use the right tools for the right job.
Strategy & Doctrine (Operations)[edit]
The most numerous and least advanced designs are used for the shortest ranged patrols and escort runs. The bigger and most advanced designs either run long range scouting, deep penetration raids or are held for quick counter attacks on advancing enemy columns of advance. High jump range raiders focus on knocking out enemy logistical infrastructure.
Rank & Grade (Hierarchy)[edit]
The naval admiralty controls the entire fleet and is responsible for integration of disparate elements into a cohesive fighting force. Planetary admirals are charged with the defense of member worlds. Vice admirals are dispatched with battlegroups to address specific threats and carry out specific missions or campaigns. Rear admirals handle squadrons within the battlegroups of lend ships from existing squadrons to form battlegroups. Commodores lead divisions which make up squadrons or flotillas. Captains command individual capital warships. Commanders command support vessels and escorts.
