These are native built, second tier units for internal security missions, counter terrorism, and counter insurgencies.

Goals (Mission)

These formations embrace a security doctrine which acknowledges the existence of more advanced forces with better equipment. They just don't let that reality get in the way of them getting their missions done.

Strategy & Doctrine (Operations)

They are composed of economical vehicles manufactured locally. Rapid tempo operations with combined arms integrated to the lowest levels possible are the rule of the day. These units are very lean on logistics. Fuel and food are the typical limiting factors.

History & Background (Dossier)

Regimental combat teams do not have long lineages nor glorious combat histories. They are expedient and temporary units built from whatever assets are on hand at the moment.

Tables of Organization (Organizational Structure)

Formed and equipped using native built designs at the local technology level of TL–6, these units are found on Sopol (world), in the Abidal Subsector of the Halcyon Sector in the Distant Fringe. Some mercenary companies have purchased their vehicles for operations on less developed worlds in the region. Some of these vehicles have found their way into other planets military formations. Some have been captured in battle and others were purchased through corporate intermediaries and arms dealers. Examples of this include the Paratha Combat Brigades. These regiments are formed from pools of up to ten companies which can vary in composition depending on the mission. Regiments rarely exceed 1,000 troopers in strength, and are often smaller. Occasionally an entire battalion will form the core of a regimental combat team.
