History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Settled early in the Rule of Man, Solomon came into conflict with the Eakoi Corporation in the last century Pre-Imperial. Their offensive was successful but badly overextended the Solomon Hegemony, which then collapsed under sheer economic strain in 200.

Following the Peace of Ftahalr, Solomon desperately sought out patronage from the Third Imperium, eventually agreeing to host an Imperial naval base in exchange for economic and technological assistance.

World Starport (Sp)[edit]

Solomon has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Population (P)[edit]

Solomon has a population of 30,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).

World Government (G)[edit]

Solomon is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.

World Law Level (L)[edit]

Solomon has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

World Technology Level (TL)[edit]

Solomon possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.
