A common Vilani proverb pertaining business states the following: "Pay for the shalap only if you are certain it is a shalap", similar to the Solomani saying "let the buyer beware"[2].
Derived Products (Goods)[edit]
They are raised as livestock animals and are popular in Vilani Space. They make a potent foodstuff and can survive under almost any conditions with minimal care. It isn't uncommon to find canned and salted Shalap on older Vilani vessels that is still good over a millennium later.
