Description (Planetology)[edit]
No information yet available.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Saregon is administrated by the Anarque of Saregon, a powerful computer network that provides basic needs for the billions of citizens. As these are automated and sustainable systems, the motivation to work is limited for Saregonians. The Imperium is highly suspicious of artificial intelligence, which puts this world under the watchful eye of Imperial authorities, but Saregonian culture is open and allows the Imperium to inspect the system as much as they like.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Saregon has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Imperial Naval Base, hosting the headquarters of the 273rd Fleet.
World Population (P)[edit]
Saregon has a population of 10,000,000,000 sophonts (tens of billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Anglic, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
World Government (G)[edit]
Saregon has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
- All local governments make use of the computer network that truly runs the planet.
World Law Level (L)[edit]
Saregon has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
Saregon possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Meson Communicators and Pseudo Reality Communications.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, improved collectors, and advanced Fusion+.
