Pru-mavin is a pre-agricultural, moderate population garden world with over a hundred million, but not yet a billion sophonts.

• Garden worlds are known for their near-ideal utopian environments conducive to most sophonts, plants, animals, and other forms of life.
• It is a pre-agricultural world with an environment suitable for large scale agricultural and livestock industries that have not yet been widely developed.
• Its economy and population are growing and living conditions are expected to gradually rise barring outside forces.
• This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below standard for Charted Space.
• This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
• It is a member of the Gniivi Collective in the Sontra Subsector of Hinterworlds Sector.

• It is the adopted cultural homeworld of the Gniivi, a sophont species and minor race.

Pru-mavin is a Meso World between 12,000km and 13,500km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.8G and 1.1G. The horizon will appear about 5.1km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Pru-mavin has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Pru-mavin has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)

Although not their biological homeworld nor their political capital, this is considered the modern centre of the Gniivi culture. Many Gniivi dream of retiring to this world.

World Starport (Sp)

Pru-mavin has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

The Gniivi here live a highly traditional, pastoral life (at only TL-2); as such, the starport facilities are deliberately underdeveloped.

Pru-mavin is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. The government leadership may select the bureaucracy leadership, but not its membership. Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy, and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. This ruling bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucractic apparatus or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence, like the military.

Pru-mavin has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
