Description (Specifications)

The Light class 4x4 Wheeled Self Propelled Gun Truck, TL-10: Designed for Pam's Peacekeepers a Mercenary unit of Condotterie it is based on a modified Buffalo class 4x4 Wheeled Cargo Truck chassis. Fully loaded the truck's 5m3 4x4 wheeled suspension requires some extra maintenance. Fortunately the ground pressure doesn't result in it getting stuck likes its cousin. The cross country speed is only 30% of the road speed. The vehicle is NOT sealed against CBR/NBC threats. There is a 2cm hyper velocity, electric action auto cannon in the fully stabilized rotating open remotely operated mount on the chassis deck, with point defense and indirect fire control.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Light class 4x4 Wheeled Self Propelled Gun Truck was designed and manufactured at TL–10, these vehicles are manufactured for Pam's Peacekeepers to complete the mercenary Dream Ticket on Aramanx/Aramis (Spinward Marches 3005). These were built with money provided upfront by Sternmetal Horizons an interested megacorporation. The total unit budget was MCr30. The 4x4 wheeled system is an unarmored box. It is also an artillery system. The passengers include the unit commander and staff. Up to eight female covert operatives can be carried. These highly trained multi-lingual spies infiltrate enemy areas unarmed and stir up trouble with counter-intelligence all the while keeping an eye on enemy operations and reporting back via elaborate secret trade craft, dead drops and the like. They are selected to blend in and not attract attention, although seduction is not out of the question.
