Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background[edit]
Kovuu's population has long enjoyed the use of ornithopters as a form of sport and recreation. Many Kovuuns now use their wings for local travel. The reduced burden on the planet's few remaining grav vehicles greatly extends their working life. Although a difficult feat, many Kovuuns have begun to learn how to hunt live game from the air. This practice has created a greater degree of local independence from imported foodstuffs.
Imperial Landed Nobility[edit]
Kovuu, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.
World Starport[edit]
Kovuu has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
