History & Background (Dossier)

Khalikkam is a non-agricultural, non-industrial ice-capped world with one large moon, located on the Rim Main within Vega Subsector of the Solomani Rim. The system is a member of the Imperium.

Khalikkam is a mature colony of Ganesh (Solomani Rim 2518), established early in the Solomani period. An active but nonviolent movement has pushed for independence, but negotiations are moving very slowly, since Ganesh is unwilling to sever ties with its colony.

World Starport (Sp)

Khalikkam has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
