The asteroid belt has always been the most prosperous part of the system, with the mainworld serving mostly as a stopover for mining interests.

Hteakya is a craggy, dry world with an eccentric elliptical orbit and a weak magnetic field.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Hteakya is a poor Aslan Hierate world located in the Goertel Subsector of the Trojan Reach.
- The system formerly belonged to the Glorious Empire and was only recently lost to the Hierate.
- The Uiuikhtaiu clan took control, being former vassals of the Khaukheairl who gave up their vassalge to join the wars against the Glorious Empire.
- The few thousand freed human slaves on Hteakya have been offered the use of a clan colony ship to transport them offworld to any planet within six parsecs.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Hteakya has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Government (G)[edit]
Hteakya is governed by a Participatory Democracy where eligible voters determine laws and policy. What determines an eligible voter varies. There may be smaller councils or regional bodies to draft the policies voted upon. Leadership of the government and all members of the bureaucracy are determined by the voting population.
World Law (L)[edit]
Hteakya has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms except shotguns, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
