Fist is the start of both the Florian Route, which is the main Imperium/Florian League trade route, as well as the Hierate Route, which connects the Aslan Hierate and the Imperium.

• The system is best known for the six nickel-iron asteroids that were moved into position by an eccentric belter several centuries ago and sculpted into monuments to Imperial power.

Fist has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Government

A self-perpetuating oligarchy which formed out of a mix of bureaucracy and democratic mechanisms resulted in a government led by powerful elites supported by the people. This semi-inclusive form of government has, in this case, led to a system with virtually no restrictive laws. Though laws do exist to govern how business is conducted, and crimes against people do exist, these laws are mainly reactive, allowing citizens and visitors to go about their business as they see fit until they break a procedural law or injure another person.

World Economy

With a low population and being a non-industrial, technologically advanced society that is the gateway to the Florian Route, Fist imports a substantial amount of industrial goods. Fist is also high in resources, which it utilizes locally, as well as trading out to industrial worlds in return for trade agreements for the merchandise they produce. The small populations size of this rather large water world has resulted in a low infrastructure environment, as there is little need for expansive infrastructure projects.
