Durnal is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.

Durnal has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Durnal has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Mainworld Geography & Topography

The continent of Fren is a small landmass separated by deep oceans from other continents. It is here that the Freni originated.

All of the landmasses save the northern polar continent were eventually settled.

Native Lifeforms

Durnal's biology is mostly compatible with that of Terra, and so Humans and Vargr can eat most local food.

A friendly race with a long history of contact with Humaniti, they are proudly independent.

Durnal has maintained its independence in spite of its proximity to the Corellan League and the expansionist Eslyat Magistracy.

World Starport

Durnal has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

The six subspecies of Freni are only marginally interfertile, bordering on separate species, so while their culture has blended, their racial identity has not.

The Freni do not have an interstellar navy but a strong system defence force exists, mainly operating ships imported from the Corellan League.

World Law (L)

Durnal has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors).
