Description[edit]

From coreward, the Mal'Gnar extend into the subsector, showing no signs of pressing further rimward, while the Florian League extends into the subsector from trailing. Near the rimward edge of the Darkling Regions one finds the ringworld of Northstar, the base of the Northstar Interworld Technological Services.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes[edit]

The dark/absorption nebulae amidst the stars of this subsector that gives the "Darkling Regions" its name is found mostly within the region to trailing within the subsector. This absorption nebula can sometimes be responsible for astrogation difficulties and minor jump anomalies.

The only established jump routes into the Darkling Regions originate in the I'Sred*Ni Heptad. This makes travelling into the subsector rather difficult, to say the least.
