Clemson Spiral
An astrographic feature located in Phlask Sector.

It is named for its central system, Clemson (Phlask 1407), which anchors its three arms.
The Clemson Spiral is considered non-aligned space. It borders the Hive Federation, but the Hivers have agreed to keep their formal borders outside of the cluster.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
This is a major trade route within Phlask Sector's non-aligned space.
High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move along the Main, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.
Hiver, Gurvin, and Human traders are regularly encountered.

The following languages are among the most commonly used along this main:
- Rim Anglic: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium, an official language of the Solomani Confederation, and common to many independent human worlds.
- Gurvin: The common language of the Hive Federation and a secondary language in many of its client states.
- Hiver Sign Language: The silent, visual language used naturally by Hivers.
- Ithkluri: The common language of the Ithklur, and used in conjunction with Gurvin throughout the Hive Federation and adjacent space.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium, and common to many independent human worlds.
