Aarza Kand is a moderate population, preindustrial, icy vacuum world, with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.
- Its surface is ice-capped with little or no atmosphere and nearly all of its water frozen.
- It is a world working toward being an industrial powerhouse but lacks an adequate workforce to do so at this time. Immigration is being encouraged and promoted. This world needs workers.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Shinkan Subsector of Core Sector in the Domain of Sylea.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
On this vacuum-locked world, most of the inhabitants live in underground complexes called clusters. A large proportion of the inhabitants are scattered across smaller clusters and mining districts sprawling the planet. Transport between clusters is relatively expensive.
Notably, this world is the home base for one of Core Sector's most interesting organised crime outfits. The Ekilati Onati are composed of expatriate Irilitok Vargr -- considered an underclass in most sectors but here having a more impressive reputation.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Aarza Kand, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial Landed Knight who acts as an Imperial representative to the world, and the fiefdoms of two members of the Imperial Landed Nobility, who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial knight, the Imperial representative to the world.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial marquis.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial viscount.
World Starport[edit]
Aarza Kand has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The starports of Aarza Kand are efficient and utilitarian.
- The starport could easily upgrade to class-A, but this has been deemed unnecessary as nearby Kersi Am and Minos have monopolised starship construction in the region.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Core Anglic, a dialect of one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
Urbanization[edit]
The largest city on Aarza Kand, consisting of several clusters, is Kagii Laa.
World Technology Level[edit]
No information yet available.
World Government[edit]
Aarza Kand is almost a balkanised world. It has five nations with distinct cultures and modes of government. The five combine to elect one central government with the citizens of each nation voting for a world president and cabinet ministers.
