Description (Specifications)
Diablo Fighter Bomber (TECH LEVEL 10) used by a mercenary Condotterie company called the Destroyers: The vehicle has a crew of 2, a pilot, gunner/RIO in complex cockpits with rocket ejection seats, with powered controls in a hypersonic VTOL airframe. It can carry 600kg of bombs on six hardpoints under the wings and fuselage. It carries ten 80kg capacity launch rails for TAC missiles for air to air and air to ground targets.

- Weapons: There are six single bomb hardpoints under the wings and fuselage for 100kg HE iron bombs with 24cm warheads 34/6/5. They cost Cr 300 each and a full load is included in the plane's price.
There are ten 80kg capacity TAC missile launch rails. There is no on-board guidance provided. The missiles have homing guidance, they mount either 24cm HE 34/6/5 warheads for air-to-air targets or HEAP 56 warheads for anti-tank work. The HE version cost Cr407.5 each and have a 30km range with a +10 DM high performance bonus. The HEAP version cost Cr426.5 each and have a 40km range. A full load of HEAP ATGMs are included in the price.

History & Background (Dossier)
An initial order of four custom proto-type planes was made. The Baroness could only afford two for her inaugural mercenary ticket for use on Aramanx/Aramis (Spinward Marches 3005). Rumor is she plans to acquire the rest as soon as possible. These were designed for a mercenary Dream Ticket, to be built with money provided upfront by Sternmetal Horizons an interested megacorporation. The total unit budget was MCr30. They are envisioned to be barebones, just large enough to carry the weapons payload, at a speed fast enough to outrun any indigenous air craft. Skilled forward observers are required to coordinate these planes for close air support.
