Service crew are crew members who carry out a variety of duties aboard a vessel. They may include technical specialists who work closely with the Engineering staff, undertaking maintenance and repair duties, and Stewards, performing tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

An individual serving as Service Crew generally holds one or more technical Certificates:
- Level 1 (Qualified)
- Level 2 (Competent)

- Level 4 or more (Master)
