The Veracruz Subsector of the Alpha Crucis Sector contains 32 worlds with a population of 7.3 billion. The highest population is 6 billion, at Velscur. The highest tech level is E at Dodge, Minot, Vogar, Boissevain, Tuxpan, Zbaraz, Garrick, Ebano and Tajio.

The entire subsector lies within the borders of the Solomani Confederation and contains 11 non-aligned worlds. Chartres, Montserrat and Cologne are members of the Consolidation of Turin.

Veracruz was settled thousands of years ago, in part by the legendary Alpha Crucis Foundation under the Terran Confederation. Almost all of subsector’s inhabitants are pure Solomani, most originally of European, North African and American ancestry. The Church of the First Cross is quite popular in the rimward regions, and the Solomani Catholic Church in the coreward areas.
