Langemarck Royal Navy
The Langemarck Royal Navy serves the Langemarck Coalition.
Description (Specifications)
The Langemarck Coalition fleet is characterized by low displacement vessels.
History & Background (Dossier)
The Langemarck Coalition has access to several advanced technology shipyards, up to TL–14, but the industrial population base of most of their worlds is too low to support massive ship building and/or maintenance of the same. Some of the more primitive planets have boat yards with higher populations. This allows them to produce more volume, if not the advanced designs. There are five Naval Bases within coalition territory. Each squadron has a core of advanced designs which transport smaller, less advanced designs. By agreement the local boatyards have settled on standard 1,000ton, 100ton and 10ton designs, at their respective technology levels.

A model 2 computer is taxed trying to compensate for the lack of a proper bridge, making target acquisition against fleet elements equipped with ECM. The triple missile launchers are capable for dog fighting and the speed and agility support this as a streamlined, dual environment combatant. A small stateroom allows long patrols and picket duty across a system is needed.
