Hopes Jump

Hopes Jump is a Shadow Rift located within Kineda Sector, Lucent Sector, Thrax Sector, and Wayland Sector, within the Infinitys Shore region of the Empty Stars.

Details / Specifications

Hopes Jump measures around 60 parsecs coreward-rimward by around 15 parsecs spinward-trailing, though some regions are narrower and its coreward parts are as much as 35 parsecs across. It links to the great Void in Wayland Sector.

History

Hopes Jump was first charted by ultra-long-range scans performed by vessels from the Last Armada sometime around 2255AD. Its exact position and dimensions were plotted by the University of Selasia Spinward Survey between 5555AD and 5570AD.
