Usani has both an unbreathably thin atmosphere and a lack of surface water making habitation by sophonts difficult. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. This system serves as the capital for the subsector. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Usani Subsector of Deneb Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Usani, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. The system supports both an Imperial Naval Base and a Scout Base with the additional starship traffic.

Era: New Era

Usani system has a population between 10 and 100 million sophonts. It is a member of Regency of Deneb in the Usani Subsector of Deneb Sector and in the Regency Frontier. The system supports both a Regency Naval Base and a Scout Base with the additional starship traffic.

History & Background (Dossier)

The first attempts to settle Usani were made around -2400 by a Vilani clan fleeing the Rule of Man. Usani was a member of the Lidash League and joined the Imperium with the rest of the member worlds in 100.

Usani maintains penal colonies on Bruyere (Deneb 2023) and Ayers (Deneb 2424).

It is the seat of the Duchy of Usani.

Lurent planetoid ships may be found in the system’s Oort clouds.
