This category is for "Adventure Class" Ships (ACS), which include all Vessels smaller than 2,500 tons displacement, both civilian and military.
- Naval terminology generally refers to vessels belonging to this size class as the "Auxiliary Class" (ACS), as ships of this size range generally have no main-battle combat role in modern naval fleet actions, but rather include vessels that either support the main battle elements or act independently as patrol and escort combatants in provincial and colonial navies.
