| Sacrifices protection for long range | |
This scout cruiser is used on the fringes of imperial space where long range is required to cross between widely scattered stars. Built to live off the land these ships have had more than their fair share of first encounters and border skirmishes. Their intended mission profile is covert operations. They are used for intelligence gathering (spying). They serve with the 172nd Fleet and the 314th Fleet. Their lack of armor and agility requires that they use their black globes to hide.
