Los mundos sin atmósfera pueden tener porcentajes hidrográficos superiores a 0 lo que indica que el mundo tiene casquetes polares; el agua no se hallará en forma líquida sino como una masa sólida en parte o toda la superficie.
Un mundo puede tener hasta un 5% de agua seguir y considerandose un mundo desértico. Así mismo, un mundo puede tener una hidrosfera del 96% y seguir considerándose un mundo acuático.
On worlds with exotic, corrosive, or insidious atmospheres, the liquid may be items other than water, like ammonia, methane, ethanol, or other more exotic compounds.
