Michael Mikesh was one of the founders and chief editor of the History of the Imperium Working Group, with his focus on the Julian Protectorate and the Vargr Extents.
- As one of the chief arcitects of the HIWG Mike was credited in several of the Megatravller books and had articles published in both Travellers' Digest and Challenge.
- He was also an author of the "Contact: Hhkar!" article in Challenge #52, and a contributer to the Traveller: The New Era core book.
