The Mark III class Titan is a Groundcraft.
- It is a military vehicle, Tracked Vehicle, and a Armored Fighting Vehicle.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Used on Inurin (world) during a period of warfare between an alliance and combine factions on a balkanized world beyond the imperial frontier in the The Borderland Subsector of the Trojan Reach Sector.
Mark III Titan Tracked Assault Vehicle TL–5: :The vehicle has a crew of 36 (driver, 13 gunners, 21 loaders and commander). It mounts a 30 cm Main Battery in the front of the hull, four 15 cm secondary batteries and eight MMG turrets to provide 360 degree anti-infantry coverage. It has a massive 1,200 cubic meter tracked suspension to distribute its huge mass.
- Vehicle Dimensions: Height: 8 m. Width: 16 m. Length: 40 m.
- Total usable volume: 3,920 m³
- Total mass loaded: 15,784.211 metric tons.
- Production Cost: Cr. 8,651,393.7
- Movement: Road 20kph/17cm, Cross country 4kph/3cm.
- Movement effect on fire: No stabilization gear, if move < 1/2 -4 FFP/no fire, if >1/2 no fire
- Armor: Chassis front, rear and sides 50, chassis belly and deck 42.
- Target Size DMs: +45 low, no high hits.
- Equipment: 5,000 power radio, 8 search lights mounted in the MMG turrets, 5,000 power radio jammer, radio direction finder +1 to hit, TL 5 fire direction center (1 target), 100 smoke dischargers, and a sealed environment with life support for 36.
- Power: 112.5 megawatt massive internal combustion diesel engines displace 500 cubic meters, with a 562.5 cubic meter transmission consumes 101,250 liters of fuel/ hour! Fuel oil capacity is an impressive 1,109,495 liters, enough for 10.9 hours. This provides a lumbering 40 km radius of operation between refueling. With a battalion of fuel tankers trailing behind it and a battalion of combat engineers working ahead to clear a path for advance it had limited strategic deployment options. Ground Pressure 13 tons/m2 (gets stuck in mud on a roll of 3+ and in soft earth and sand on 5+ on a d6) Power to Weight 7.
- Weapons: The eight turret mounted, Anti-Personnel medium machine guns are mounted (2) front corners can fire forward and to the sides, (2) on either flank, and (2) on the rear quarters. They have +2 signature and each engage 8 targets. Each has enough ammo for 80 fire phases, or 51,200 rounds total, and they have the following direct fire characteristics:
- Effective Range Long Range Extreme Range
- 400m (3)+4 750m (2)+3 1,200m (2)+1
The forward hull mounted Main Battery is a 30cm low velocity howitzer with TL 5 direct and indirect fire control. It has a 21.5km indirect fire range. It has a +5 signature when it fires and a 1/4 ROF. It takes 17.5 turns to set up for indirect fire missions and has a crew of 10 (a gunner and 9 loaders for the 480kg rounds). Its indirect fire accuracy is -2 up to 10.75km range and -4 to hit up to 21.5km. Its direct fire ranges are:
- Effective Range Long Range Extreme Range
- 200m 600m 1,500m
- 400m 800m 2,000m w/KEAP rounds
- There is ammunition storage for 80 rounds. The typical load includes:
- Amount/Type/Cost per round
- (20) HE 32/5/5 Cr. 960
- (20) KEAP 41/36/31 Cr. 960
- (10) KEAPER 39/34/29 Cr. 1,056
- (10) Illum 117cm Cr. 1,920
- (10) Smoke 2cmx2cm Cr. 960
- (10) Chemical lethal/persistent 2cmx2cm burns 6 turns Cr. 1,920
The are four Secondary Batteries. They are 15cm high velocity guns with TL 5 direct and indirect fire control. They have a 24km indirect fire range. It has a +3 signature when it fires and a ROF 2. It takes 12 turns to set up for indirect fire missions and has a crew of 4 each (a gunner and 3 loaders for the 60kg rounds. Its indirect fire accuracy is -4 up to 12km range and -8 to hit up to 24km. Its direct fire ranges are:
- Effective Range Long Range Extreme Range
- 400m 800m 2,000m
- 600m 1,000m 2,500m w/KEAP rounds
- There is ammunition storage for 80 rounds for each gun. The typical load includes:
- Amount/Type/Cost per round
- (20) HE 21/3/3 Cr. 240
- (20) KEAP 36/34/28 Cr. 240
- (10) KEAPER 34/32/26 Cr. 264
- (10) Illum 84cm Cr. 480
- (10) Smoke 2cmx2cm Cr. 240

Basic Vehicle Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Army and IISS Universal Vehicle Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the vehicle when applicable. Tonnage on the universal vehicle profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary.
