• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
• It is a member of the Corellan League in the Corella Subsector of Beyond Sector.
• This world-system has a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.

World Starport

Xanadu (Be 0519) has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• There is an associated Naval Base.

Linguistic Topography

The common language is "Corellan Galanglic", a distinct dialect of Anglic.

Government

As a full member of the Corellan League, it sends two representatives to the League Assembly, which convenes aboard the Capital Orbital habitat, a station in geosynchronous orbit above Corella.
